Camping over 4th of July Weekend
It has been a busy past two weekend. Over 4th of July weekend we organized a camping trip for a few friends. Back in January Jess reserved two camp spots at Cape Lookout State Park, OR. We set up a wiki to help plan and all arrived ready to camp. The first 24 hours were great. Walks on the beach, hanging with friends, cooking over an open fire and s’mores. Then the rain came. The next morning Jeff and I did some fly fishing on the Wilson River (rain is not a big deal when your standing in the water) and then met the ladies for lunch at the Tillamook Creamery. The rain turned the Creamery into a mad house. When we made it back to the camp we had some water management issues and decided to enjoy the rest of the weekend hanging out together in our back yards and sleeping in dry beds. For the most part it was a great time had by all.
