Mary,
Congratulations on your amazing new camera! I'm sure that your going to have a blast in Hong Kong. Funny coincidence... We bought our camera for almost the same trip. We went to Hong Kong for Thanksgiving in 2006!

I just bought an SD850IS last week from Office Depot. Excellent deal, only $239 + a free Epson printer/copier/scanner (after rebate, they pay you $5.00 back). What a deal. Haven't taken any pics yet, but judging from all this positive feedback, can't wait to do so. Am taking a trip to HK & Macau (Macau Grand Prix), so will take some serious pics!

I just purchased an SD 850 about two weeks ago after doing a bunch of research and asking around and love it. A few quirks with it in odd lighting conditions, but otherwise a great camera!

Okay, 3 hours later....the Canon G9 looks nice too...
